Energy Consultancy Services
This is a simple truth that we have known for at least the last half a century. Since the Industrial Revolution, energy has been the lifeblood of the human world. With decreasing natural resources, a sustainable world that focuses on conserving energy has emerged as the only viable future for humankind.
And yet, have we made enough progress? Energy efficiency in our buildings- whether residential, industrial or healthcare- has yet to catch up to the requirement. Thus, Consistent has been working towards designing and retrofitting energy-efficient buildings.
Our energy consultancy services focus on optimizing energy consumption, as well as the sources from which energy is derived. This is done by applying various international standards such as Net Zero & Nearly Zero Energy Buildings, ASHRAE 90.1, ASHRAE 189.1 and LEED ratings for energy efficiency.
How do we achieve this? For new buildings, the idea is to create and implement energy models based on the application of said standards, thus optimizing energy consumption.
For existing buildings, we carry out extensive auditing to ascertain the current levels of energy consumption. Then, by recognizing the major areas in which we can improve building performance, we design and implement the most energy-efficient solutions.
Team Capabilities:
In order to carry out professional energy audits in line with recognised international standards i.e. ASHRAE 112, ASHRAE Guideline 14, the team has in-house experts. They perform various tasks to establish the baseline as well as to derive various Energy Efficiency Measures (EEM) based on which the further evaluation is determined.
The team consists of members accredited with numerous certifications, such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Energy Auditor (CEA), Certified Energy Modeler, MS Energy, Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP), and Building Energy Assessment Professional (BEAP).
The Financial Aspect
Despite the necessity of energy optimization, stakeholders are at times apprehensive regarding the costs that go into putting the requisite systems in place, and oftentimes, avoid opting for them. However, it must be remembered that energy efficiency ultimately leads to lower operational costs.
At the same time, as a part of our Energy Consultancy Services, we offer different investment models that can provide the desired payback period and energy savings. For instance, the Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) Model allows the client to get their building energy optimization done at zero initial cost; as the consultants and contractors receive a percentage of the Energy Cost Savings over a predetermined period of time!
Key Offerings
Level 1 Audit: Feasibility Study

In the case of an energy audit performed on P&G Middle East Headquarters, the HVAC system was observed to require updating. Upon further analysis, a modern VRF system was recommended as a replacement. The detailed life cycle analysis revealed that over a span of 15 years, the new system would save approximately 1 million AED. The payback period established as between 4-5 years, we received the go-ahead and the design was implemented.
