Dear Friends,
I read during my early days that; to do something good needs effort but it needs extra effort to maintain that good. I am thankful and grateful to the entire team of Consistent who impart that little extra effort to make that ‘good’, extraordinary.
In the last 12 years, we observed two dips of the market; one in 2008 and the other in 2020. Inspite of the odds, we have moved ahead affirmatively with a singular focus – “how can we deliver better to our clients?”. The pandemic has thrown us all into unchartered waters and given us a blessing in disguise. During this period when the market was sluggish, we focused towards enhancing our internal capabilities by opting for certifications from various recognised global bodies like, ASHRAE, USGBC, NFPA and BEE.
At Consistent, we firmly believe in adopting new technologies and concepts which help us not only for survival but also to keep us in the race. Accreditation from ASHRAE for hospitals and clinics helped us to improvise existing hospitals to cater for COVID patients. We converted 30 buildings and made them suitable for handling patients under quarantine.
Due to construction over supply, as the volume of new projects reduced, the focus shifted to existing building retrofits, data centres and improvising energy efficiencies in the pre-built premises. Our transition in approach from pure MEP design to Sustainable MEP Design made us think about repositioning ourselves.
Keeping core concepts of philosophy in mind with an aim to serve with Quality and Commitment, we are now aligning ourselves towards the Sustainable Development Goals established by the United Nations (UN) to bring sustainability in terms of Environment, Social as well as Economic perspective.
In the past few years, we have worked on various sustainable solutions and renewable energy concepts. We were associated with developing solar PV projects as large as 3.8 MW, equipping car wash centres to use recycled water resulting in saving millions of gallons of fresh water and engaging ourselves in developing projects with nearly zero energy building concepts.
Consistent is showing its commitment towards sustainability by earning certifications of ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) and ISO 50000 (Energy Management).
Our aim is to create awareness about sustainability and eradicate myths associated with sustainability that prevents our customers from making the shift.
Being able to make a positive difference in the perspective to consider our association not limited to only MEP designs but to expand the horizon for any sustainable solutions. Consistent is committed to deliver a satisfying experience for years to come.
